Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Reunion Part 2

Mona Scott-Young did not skip a beat and picked up right where she left off with the question to Stevie J: “Are you and Joseline in a relationship?” In typical Stevie J fashion, he completely dances around the question and only answers “no” when commanded to simply answer the question. After his answer, Joseline makes it clear (repeatedly) that she was and is interested in Stevie for his sex and his money. When Joseline tries to accuse Mimi of being with Stevie for the same reason, Mimi states that not only was she with Stevie J before he had anything but that Joseline was also with him when he was financially down because Stevie was driving Joseline’s car when they first met. OH! So Stevie J is broke?! I guess Stevie was riding the bus not driving the bus! HA!

The next threesome of the season (Erica, Scrappy and Shay) come up next and after reviewing Scrappy’s antics this season, the two women get to attacking! Things get explosive on set as the two women refuse to let the other speak on the matter. In the yelling, Shay manages to try to diss Erica’s hair bun. Pretty bold of her considering Shay showed up to the taping of the reunion with a shaved cat on her head. Mona has to wrangle the girls up in order to allow Scrappy to speak and when he does speak, Shay gets a rude awakening. While admitting that he does still love his FRIEND Shay, in the same breath, Scrappy makes it very clear that the woman that he wants to be with is Erica. I mean that makes sense considering that’s the only woman in the two. His confession sends Shay over the edge and Shay, enraged, storms of the stage. Perfect timing, though, because I don’t think Shay would be able to stomach Scrappy’s proposal to Erica! YES CHILDDDD! Scrappy finally grows up, realized what he had and proposes to Erica! Backstage, Shay watches in grief as the two celebrate their engagement. (We won’t mention the fact that instead of the classic “Will you marry me?” Scrappy chose the more modern “Is you going to marry a n*gga?” line).

For some ODD reason, Mona began to ask questions about Benzino and Karlie Redd’s… as if we care? Mona asks Karlie Redd about the events that occurred the night that Benzino [didn’t] propose and Karlie Redd lets the audience know (while staring into the camera) that she caught a butt-naked woman in his place the same night. Am I the only one who thought Karlie Redd was reading lines? It could be because Karlie Redd kept stumbling over words and quickly correcting herself.

The episode wraps up with a couple of questions from the audience (paraphrased):

To Stevie: Do you think that rat face you make is cute?
Stevie: *Does rat face* [unanswered].

To Momma Dee: What type of grandmother pole dances?(In reference to pole dancing video below)
Momma Dee: …Seems like the pole does a body good.

To K. Michelle: How many receipts must a person have to get respect from you?
K. Michelle: More than Karlie Redd; Just have a wikipedia page.

To Stevie: Where is your car Stevie J? It seems like you are always walking.
Stevie: I didn’t have a car, I’m not afraid to say it. Now I got a check, therefore, I have a car.

To Mimi: You only dropped off 3 boxes of Stevie’s stuff? After 15 years, is that all he had?
Mimi: If I dropped off all his stuff, I would have had to call a mover.

Mona ends the reunion perfectly by letting us viewers know that not only will LHHATL be returning for a season 2 but the original “Love and Hip-Hop” will be airing its season 3 next January. I know what you are thinking: “What am I supposed to do on Monday’s now?” Well, I asked myself the same question and to our relief “Basketball Wives: LA” premieres next Monday! Of course, Da Boss Is Speakin will be recapping episodes of BBWLA!

Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Reunion Part 1

The reunion for “Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta” premiered tonight and its host and producer, Mona Scott-Young, delves into the major questions that has been everyone’s mind. No one is safe during the this reunion:

Mona Scott-Young begins the reunion by letting us know that the show was not scripted… I was hoping that it was because this whole thing was f*cked up. Mona wastes no time in asking Karlie Redd how old she is and she makes it clear that… she is not telling her age. Now I am really thinking this bitch is old because she won’t tell her age! If she wasn’t there would be no reason to hide it. She wouldn’t even tell us her daughters age! Next on the agenda, Mona asks the women if they have had surgery. Mimi, Erika, and Rasheeda state that they are au naturale and the audience is pretty accepting but it is when K. Michelle, Karlie Redd, and Joseline don’t admit they have butt implants that the audience calls them out. I mean we aren’t idiots and we are not blind!

Joceline’s history comes to haunt her as her former alias “Shenellica Betancourt” comes up. Shenellica Betancourt is the name that Joseline used to strip under at the tender age of sixteen. Shenellica and her mugshot becomes the hot topic and Joseline explains with ease that the pic is only one of many mugshots she has.

The questions keep rolling and a rather flamboyant audience member asks Karlie Redd of her affiliation with Cash Money. For those of you who don’t know, Karlie Redd claimed on a previous episode that her management is Cash Money and Mack Maine has since protested that statement. Karlie Redd answers that the VP of Cash Money is indeed her manager. We will see in the next few weeks if that is true or not via Twitter.

Smaller topics include the K. Michelle and Rasheeda beef, which gets pretty heated. The two bicker about whether or not K. Michelle’s story is fraudulent and Rasheeda gets rowdy when K. Michelle insults her and the alleged bags under her eyes. Mona also visits the beef between Scrappy and Stevie J where the guys fight over who won the fight during the season.

The first part of the reunion ends with questions about the infamous love triangle: Mimi, Joseline and Stevie J.  Joseline begins to show her real colors when she makes it pretty clear that she was with Stevie J for his money and his sex. The focus turns onto Joseline’s pregnancy and Stevie J is asked if he forced Joseline to get an abortion. His answer: “I made a suggestion.” Do any of you guys believe that? Joseline backs him up and claims that she wouldn’t have a baby for a man who has five kids. Right… You just said you was with him for the money and you’re saying you had the opportunity for some child support money and ain’t take it? B*tch please! Mona asks Stevie J if he and Joseline are dating and before he has a chance to answer, she ends the reunion, priming it for part 2.

Overall, I was expecting alot more heated fights but, by the looks of it, next week’s episode has a boat-load of them. Shay and Erika come face-to-face: the fight I have been waiting for. Also, next week it seems that Scrappy may be popping the question to Erika! FINALLY! Stay tuned for part 2 of “Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta” reunion.

Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Season Finale

The season finale of “Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta” was not as eventful but seem to have been used to prime the viewers for a possible season 2 of LHHATL! The scenes were pretty scattered and hopped from character to character so excuse me if this recap is in that same format:

The episode begins with Erika and Scrappy talking over their problems. Both of them seem to have really thought things over and were speaking as if they really had their hearts open, especially Scrappy. I guess he got the h*e out of his system. He still didn’t really admit that him and Shay had something going on but, as Erika said, you can look at Shay and see “SL*T BUCKET!” I love Erika and I really don’t think she should get back together with Scrappy.  Karlie Redd meets up with Roscoe Dash in order to talk about possibly doing a song together but she couldn’t keep her h*e ways under wraps for too long. Karlie Redd was outright flirting with Roscoe Dash knowing that she had Benzino, telling Roscoe Dash that her relationship with Benzino is on the rocks. Uhh, does Benzino know this?

TV’s hottest threesome (Mimi, Stevie and Joseline) meet up in a counseling session again except Stevie J walked in with a completely different demeanor. To start, he came in wearing a “I Am God” t-shirt.  Oh goodness, Stevie J and Joseline made a bit of a mockery of the session as Joseline admits that she accepts Stevie as he is. She tells the therapist that Stevie has had sex with her best friend, in her bed… while she was watching. This h*e… Stevie J suggests that the two women are riding his coat tails and he calls the shots. Right… From here, Mimi makes the decision that she no longer wants to associate with Stevie J anymore. Too bad Mimi is the boy who cried wolf because we’ve been hearing this tune since episode 1.

Stevie J calls Joseline into the studio to possibly due a song with his new artist “Che Mack” but things go awry when Joseline walks in just as Stevie J was rubbing on her arms. This sets Joseline off which is completely ridiculous. Joseline… that’s how he got you. What made you think that he wasn’t doing that with the next girl? Benzino calls Karlie Redd to meet him in a restaurant where the fool actually… PROPOSES (kinda). The words “will you marry me?” was actually never said, and when Karlie Redd asks if he was ready, his response was to “no.” Oh, it gets worst. Not only did he take the ring away, he also dumped her on site! Oh, this fool is cold-blooded! Rasheeda and Kirk have a beautiful ceremony in which they renew their friends in front of their friends and family.

The episode wraps up by giving a quick synopsis of each of the characters:

Stevie J: still a perv whipping his lil Stevie out on women he bring to the studio.
Mimi: busying herself with her daughter and business.
Joseline: is delusional and think she is a pop star instead of just a stripper off the pole. NEWS FLASH: you are the second one.
Erika: moving into a new house alone but working on herself.
Scrappy: still a basic n*gga whose actions are dictated my his momma.
Karlie Redd: hopped on the next guy’s d*ck, Roscoe Dash.
K. Michelle: still telling her story even though no one is listening.
Rasheeda: on the rise and having a great relationship.

Can’t wait for the Reunion which I will be providing a recap for as well (of course). Let’s all keep our fingers crossed for a season two but Mona Scott-Young would be a complete idiot if she didn’t make one!

Who Caught Rasheeda’s Tweet About K. Michelle?

Ohhh man, things on LHHATL is definitely getting interesting on and off the screen. The last time we saw K. Michelle and Rasheeda, the two were having lunch where K. Michelle blew up at Rasheeda after Rasheeda question her accusations about Rasheeda’s friend and K. Michelle’s ex, Memphitz. Well, it seems as though the tension between the two is a lot higher than what we saw on the screen because something has compelled Rasheeda to go OFF about K. Michelle via Twitter and Instagram. Here is a photo she posted and its caption.

Here is my reply! I find it real sad how this desperate rat Fake.Michelle can’t keep my name out her mouth. It’s sad how a person wants sympathy but every word & gesture out of her mouth is slapping a bitch and whooping a bitch ass. First, when you see Toya you gone slap her on site (YEAH RIGHT), then you threaten to whoop Kandi ass but when you seen her at the hair salon you was quiet as a mouse. Now, today u have another interview out claiming your only regret was you wish you would of slapped the shit outta me & hit me with a 1/2 punch. That alone should make people question your character. All of our careers Me, Kandi & Toya we have been nothing but positive women to the public. Everything you say is violent. You keep preaching about being abused but threatening to abuse others. You hit Karlie in the head with some silverware, she should of pressed charges against your ass. But my point here is, we are witnessing you physically & verbally abusing several women via interviews, blogs & twitter bullying and it’s a sad ass shame for someone who is claiming to be a victim. You’re playing the public trying to make them think you were abused but we know that story has a lot of holes in it. So, the police came to the hotel and seen you beat & abused like you telling the world and didn’t lock up a black man in Memphis, TN???? Bitch please, where they do that at! You claiming you didn’t want to press no charges, but they would of took that into there own hands by law. Its a shame you trying to sell this old ass story but keep threatening to hurt others in the process. The sad part is the media & the fans have to wait and continue to watch you self-destruct while everybody else already know the truth about you. Sorry ya’ll! As far as any woman who has been a victim of domestic violence my heart goes out to you all and I wish you nothing but the best but this chick right here is a FUCKING FRAUD!!

You know, Rasheeda, when you put it that way… You are kind of right. All we’ve seen from K. is violence. Not to take sides or anything but I got my eyebrows raised after this one.

Here is K. Michelle’s response to Rasheeda’s tweet and photo:

What do you guys think of K. Michelle and Rasheeda’s beef?

Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Episode 9

This season is definitely winding down to a big finale. Tonight’s episode only had a few remarkable moments but it will definitely be made up next week in the season finale. We will get to that in a second!

This episode begins where the last episode ended and for those of you guys who don’t remember, Joseline was whooping Stevie J’s a** in therapy. Stevie J does what he does the best and runs out of therapy and is halfway home (on foot) by the time camera’s caught up with him. The therapist tries to understand what just happened and speaks with Joseline. She reveals her troubled past and her absence of parents during childhood. Of course. For some reason, Stevie J has found a way to be in love with both Mimi and Joseline and can’t choose. Mother of my child and woman of 15 years… stripper I found 6 months ago. I mean it is a common and understandable dilemma.

Erika and Scrappy meet up outside, away from their daughter to keep the drama out of the home. Erika confronts Scrappy with the piece of information she has about him attending his mixtape release party with Shay. When asked “have you slept with her?,” Scrappy straight up LIES through his veneers and tells her “no” and continues by telling Erika that if he wanted to, he could because they aren’t together. Oh, really? Then why did you lie, Scrappy? Later in the episode, Momma Dee pays Scrappy a visit and he tells her that he is considering taking Erika back. This sends Momma Dee over the edge causing her to call Erika a bicth. No. This is not a typo. As Momma Dee puts it…. Erika is a “BITCH. B-I-C-T-H and in that order.” No, Momma Dee… not in that order. I guess they don’t teach vocabulary on the corners she placed her h*es on!

Joseline pays a visit to Benzino who, eventually, becomes Stevie’s lawyer throughout this episode. Joseline informs Benzino about what went during the therapy session and tells Benzino to convince Stevie to do one more therapy session with her and Mimi to get everything on the table. After, Benzino pays Mimi a visit to get her to be a little calm because in 15 years, Stevie J has ONLY  gotten 1 girl pregnant! His argument could have probably help up if Benzino hadn’t mistakenly called Mimi “Joseline.” Idiot.

As for the juiciness of the show, that is all. Checking up on the rest of the cast, Joseline and Karlie Redd have become the best of friends. Typical. H*es got to stick together. Hopefully, they will both come to their senses about their singing “careers” and Momma Dee can find them a corner to work on! Rasheeda and Kirk are in a much better place and Rasheeda asks Kirk to renew their vows. What a positive example of love! K. Michelle and Rasheeda get into a fight towards the end of the episode when Rasheeda confronts K. Michelle about her allegations of being abused by one of Rasheeda’s friends and K. does not take this lightly…

On the season finale, we get to see if Benzino gives Karlie Redd the ring he’s been carrying; Mimi, Stevie, and Joseline meet up again for another therapy session; Erica and Scrappy talk things out; and Joseline catches Stevie J with another h*e in the studio… oh how the stripper poles have turned!

Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Episode 8

You guys know what I thought about today… Where will I be in my life when this show is done?…How will I be able to move on? Anyways: To begin, I would like to clear up any confusion… There WILL be a REUNION SHOW for LHHATL with all of the members of the cast on stage! Now on to the recap…

The episode begins with a nice family outing between Mimi and Stevie J and their adorable daughter. It is a progressive step in the right direction but I still am not too fond of Mimi being so willing to open her heart up to Stevie J all over again. He informs Mimi that he is such a changed man and is in a different state of mind (after one session? right.) and would like to meet up with the therapist again… but this time with Joseline. I really don’t understand his attachment to that man. I mean, what future is he so sure she will have that he doesn’t want to let her go? Joseline and Karlie Redd meet up for the first time since Stevie J asked them both to collaborate on a song and Joseline informs Karlie Redd that she will not being a song with her because Stevie J no longer has a say over what she does. Karlie Redd tells Joseline about her relationship with Benzino and the girls talk as if they are old pals….FAKE!

Rasheeda pays a visit to the studio to meet up with Scrappy to collaborate on a track and Rasheeda is caught off-guard when she sees Shay with him and witnesses her give him a goodbye kiss on the lips. At this point in the show I am PRAYING that Rasheeda tells her homegirl Erica! Rasheeda prepares to perform with Scrappy at his mixtape release party and invites K.Michelle, Mimi, and Ariane. Of course, Rasheeda fills the girls in on the up and up with Shay and Scrappy. Scrappy and Shay arrive together which puts the girls on high alert, specifically K. Michelle, who takes it upon herself to tell Erica herself. K. Michelle later meets up with Erica and informs her about Shay and Scrappy. Even though she is trying to have a strong exterior, you can tell Erica is hurt by this. I can see the pain in your voice Erica, I can hear it in your eyes! LOL!
Rasheeda and her husband Kirk decides to go in to meet with Deb (CEO of Mizzy Ent.) and simply put… it was a disaster. Kirk comes in on the defense and Deb and him go at it. Deb tells him frankly… you are the reason why Rasheeda’s career hasn’t taken off. Kirk answers by telling Deb that it isn’t his fault and its not his problem. The award for the WORST MANAGER EVER: Kirk. Of course, this meeting opens the ground for the most awkward car ride ever for the two and instead of clearing things up… the meeting has made it worst. Sigh… I really hope this doesn’t wreck their relationship.

Now for the moment we’ve been waiting for: the three-way counseling session. Mimi and Stevie J arrive to counseling together and Joseline arrives shortly after. Joseline gives the rundown of her and Stevie J’s relationship and as she is talking… Stevie J wipes the sweat off her nose! The therapist calls him out on his actions and when Mimi lets Joseline know that she is still with Stevie J and lives with him… Joseline pounces on Stevie J and WHOOPS HIS A**!!! Joseline made whooping Stevie’s behind so easy… why was Scrappy struggling when they fought? Anyways, Stevie J does his classic move and runs away and Joseline goes crazy on the crew!

The episode ends here but before I go:

This is a photo of the K. Michelle and Shay at Scrappy’s mixtape release party. If you’ve read before… K. Michelle SNITCHED on Shay to Erica about her relationship with Scrappy but apparently was all buddy-buddy with her at his party. The thirst is real, y’all.

Have You Heard: Karlie Redd’s New Track?

Listen, please excuse me if there are any spelling/grammatical errors in this post but it is quite difficult typing while laughing my head off. Surfing the web, I came across the official track Karlie Redd has put out for her single “Louie, Prada, Gucci.” If you are wondering what song I am talking about: remember that horrible song and two-step Karlie Redd performed for Stevie J on stage during episode 5 of “Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta”? That one. I’ll give you a second to stop laughing. Okay. Now the fact that Karlie Redd has the balls to sing about “Louie, Prada, Gucci” with no career is beyond me but the thing that gets to me is that Karlie Redd sounds like a run-down, older version of the OMG Girlz “Gucci This, Gucci That”. The difference is: the OMG Girlz have careers and could book shows. Maino on the track provided NO help for this disaster; it may have made it worse when he compares her to a polar bear. OK! Enough of me talking about it. Listen for yourself!

Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Episode 7

This season is definitely slowing down but I won’t be fooled… I know it’s just because it is leading to a big finish! This episode didn’t have as many OMG moments as the other episodes but it sure did have its share of “Oh No He Didn’t!” moments:

Mimi meets up with K. Michelle in her studio where K. Michelle surprises Mimi with a slow jam that she wrote for her! It was a very nice gesture coming from K. Michelle and it sounded really beautiful… especially compared to that fail of a diss track she wrote about Joseline and Karlie Redd (listen here). Joseline hits up the studio to record her track with… NOT STEVIE! As we learned last episode, Joseline has been stepping out on Stevie J by seeing other producers to make her tracks. Stevie J makes a surprise visit while Joseline is recording her track in the studio and uses his usual mind games on her. Joseline has really been stepping up her game because she was not having it! Stevie even went out on a limb to say that they will stop having sex in which Joseline steps up to say “You can’t leave this alone!” I’m really starting to like this dude!

Has anyone else noticed that Benzino has the HUGEST head EVER? Anyways, Karlie Redd spends countless nights at Benzino’s house (well, let’s say 7 nights since they really “met” like a week before) and Benzino surprises her with a key to his house. In response, Karlie Redd let’s Benzino know that her manager has some concerns about her dating Benzino considering that Benzino and his career are cold. *PAUSE.* If Benzino and his career are cold, what does that make Karlie Redd and her career? FROZEN?! Karlie, boo, Benzino had a career. Has a career. You? You are a career groupie with a fake a**. Sit down. Benzino doesn’t keep quiet and asks Karlie the same thing if that means she isn’t cold?

At an event, Stevie J and his band performs a song for Mimi in which Stevie J does not  apologize but instead, complains about how sick and tired of all of the fighting. Duh! If you are tired of fighting… stop messing up! Stevie J then pulls Mimi to the side in which Mimi breaks down about how hurt she was by his actions. If this show is scripted, Mimi may be trying to work on her Academy award because that girl put on her Angela Bassett face and put on the performance of her life!

Basic a** Scrappy and his now girlfriend Shay discuss Erika reneging on her agreement to take Scrappy off of child support and Scrappy opens up and tells Shay that he wants to get a lawyer. Scrappy has to be one of the most thirsty, basic “men” (which I use the term loosely) that I’ve ever seen. Who plans to take their baby momma to court to be removed from child support? Scrappy is broke enough and he wants to WASTE money trying to take Erica to court? Boy, sit down.

The episode wraps up when Mimi and Stevie J see the therapist that they agreed to see. It began pretty well when Stevie J finally admits that he is a liar but goes left when Stevie J also admits that he loves Joseline but “as a friend.” Right.  The therapist doesn’t neglect to call out that Mimi has definitely been an enabler to Stevie J’s actions. In delving deeper, it is revealed that Mimi was kicked out by her mother when she was 13 and Stevie J doesn’t know his mother which is great in revealing why these two have their sick attachment to others.

In the preview for next week’s episode, the love triangle (Joseline, Mimi, and Stevie J) seek group therapy and Benzino seems to be getting a little sprung over Karlie’s cat when he goes ring shopping! My heart might give out by the end of this season! This show needs an Emmy!

Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Episode 6

Hmm… this weeks episode was not as crazy as the previous weeks but was more focused on tying lose ends here and there with the entire cast… including Mimi and Joseline. But that’s later….

Stevie J FINALLY does one thing correct and goes to put his hoe, Joseline, in check after she sends Mimi threatening texts but Joseline fights back. She reveals that since her and Stevie J are supposedly dating, Stevie J shouldn’t be concerned with what Joseline sends to Mimi. Wow, that man is pretty determined to be Stevie J’s main thing. Anyways, Stevie J throws out the only card he has and once again threatens to end her career. Stevie, when are you going to get it? That n*gga has no future in the business. Mama Dee and Shay meet up to discuss Scrappy and his relationship with Erica like the two rats that they are and can I just say that I definitely do not like Mama Dee? She was basically hinting that Shay fights Erica. Maybe its because Mama Dee used to be a pimp which is why she favors that hoe but Mama Dee really needs to take a seat. Ugh.

Karlie Redd and K. Michelle meet up and, similar to the Erica and Joseline meet up, I was very disappointed that K. Michelle wasn’t acting more like a lady even though Karlie Redd was trying her hardest to have a simple conversation with her.

Joseline is definitely trying to make her way into this business by any means necessary. This is made known when Joseline reveals that she has been speaking to other producers to try to make music elsewhere. As much as it pains me to say it, good for her. Part of Joseline’s disgustingness is her sick attachment to Stevie J (the other part is the fact that she has been a stripper). She also reveals that she has changed her number so Stevie J can’t contact her. Man, you got to be some kind of low if Joseline dumps YOU.

Scrappy and Erica meet up when Scrappy comes over to pick up a couch from Erica’s house. In their conversation, I finally get to see how big of a SCRUB Scrappy is. I am sorry to the Scrappy fans, I was one of you guys too, but after watching how Scrappy is with Erica… he is a SCRUB! After having a conversation about how much they do love each other Scrappy shoves in there that he wants Erica to take him off of child support. Sigh. I will be soooo done with Erica if she does that. Even Erica’s mom warns Erica not to do that!

Rasheeda goes out to outside management after her husband completely drops the ball in packing a club for the premiere of “Marry Me.” (Don’t worry guys, you don’t have to search elsewhere: the video is at the bottom!) Anyways, in meeting with outside management, Rasheeda realizes that the main reason for her failures in the business is her husband. Wow. Tough pill to swallow, but Rasheeda has to realize that it’s very true! She confronts the issue to her husband Kirk and admits that she went to meet up with outside management which, of course, puts a wedge between them. Personally, I feel that if Kirk wants Rasheeda to make it big, he should take a step back, let professionals handle it, and be quiet as he rakes in the benefits of being married to her.

Mimi and Joseline meet up at the end of the episode and once again Joseline is being a
grown man woman and apologizes for getting pregnant by Mimi’s man. They have a mini heart-to-heart which was actually great to see because they were both being women! But as Mimi so perfectly put it, in not so many words… we still don’t trust that hoe.

Next week, Mimi takes Stevie J up on his offer to go to therapy. Yes, I do think they need it for the sake of their daughter but if Mimi takes that n*gga back… I’ll be DONE with Mimi, too!

Here is Rasheeda’s new video… coulda been better if she had a better team….

I have purposely omitted the date with Benzino and Karlie Redd due to the fact that it is too STAGED to mention.

What do you guys think about Rasheeda’s video and Episode 6 of LHHATL? Comment Below and check out the LHHATL Forums!

Recap: "Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta" Episode 5

I don’t even know where to start with this one! This episode begins with Joseline and Erica meeting up to talk things out after the fight. To be honest, I was expecting another fight so I was on the edge of my seat, and guessing by how the conversation went, Erica was ready for one too. Joseline kept her cool and even apologized for accusing Erica of sleeping with Stevie J. It completely caught me off guard how mature Joseline was being and how immature Erica was acting. I understand that you don’t like someone and won’t be fake, but I mean the girl just apologized for coming at you; Erica was too hostile. Don’t get it twisted though, I am still #TeamNOhoes!

The classiest girl on the show, Ariane, pays Mimi a visit to talk about Mimi throwing Stevie J’s things out. Ariane gets too much respect from me for openly acknowledging that Mimi is also at fault for what Stevie J is  doing. A man does what a woman allows him to. Scrappy has a heart asthma attack, plays dead and then complains to his mother about Erica’s absence during the incident. Scrappy, boo, it was an asthma attack. I understand those things may be severe but if it was as severe as Scrappy made it seem, he would have been thanking God that he didn’t die, not complaining that Erica wasn’t there. Scrappy complains more than a b*tch about the things that Erica doesn’t do, instead of being grateful for things that she does do. He’s worst than Martin:

I know you guys remember the episode… But let’s continue. As Erica explained to Momma Dee…”he’s asthmatic, he’s going to have asthma attacks.” I’m sure this wasn’t the first attack Scrappy has had so he should know by now what to expect from them.

Shay goes over Scrappy’s house and the first thing I thought was… The f*ck she got on her head! Didn’t her weave look like Gina when she got her head stuck in the headboard and tried to cover it up with weave?

Ok, enough with the Martin references. Shay questions whether or not Scrappy ever can see them two together and Scrappy says yes. I almost threw up in my mouth. Then, Scrappy kisses her on the mouth; then I threw up. YUCK! Scrappy picks a fight with Erica later on in the episode just to find a reason to break up with her and poor Erica runs to her girls about the break-up. Poor thing tells them she, honestly, doesn’t think there is someone else. I hope Erica finds out and whoops Shay a**

Karlie Redd’s thirsty, deflated a** meets up with Stevie J, where she tells Stevie J that she is managed by Cash Money. This strikes me as odd seeing as Cash Money can make her a star and record songs with her  but doesn’t do it. HA! Cash Money signed her because they want to make money off of her JUST IN CASE she does make it big but doesn’t want to waste the time and money to put her out there. Stevie J asks Joceline to collaborate on a track with Karlie Redd which sends Joseline over the top but Stevie J, being the pimp that he is, puts his hoe in check and tells Joseline that she will be doing this track. (Side note: Did anyone catch that WACK two step Karlie Redd busted out on stage?)

K. Michelle and Karlie Redd finally meet up to discuss the bullsh*t that Karlie Redd has been pulling by going to K. Michelle’s producer and informing him that he is “messing with the wrong artist.” Right out the gate, K. Michelle points out Karlie Redd’s knock-off jewelry. HA! The two bicker like girls but things escalate when K. Michelle tells Karlie Redd that Karlie has f*cked everyone in the game and Karlie Redd responds by telling K. Michelle that she’s done it too and that she has K. Michelle on tape. I guess Joseline isn’t the only one who has made it to the big screen. K. Michelle hits Karlie Redd with her napkin and then is whisked off into a bathroom by security.

I’ve decided: Mona Scott-Young deserves an Oscar or an Emmy after this show ends because she is really a genius for casting these woman and setting up these events. Next week’s episode gets interesting when Rasheeda searches for outside management (which means she may fire her husband) and Joseline and Mimi meet up once again!
